Job summary

Zing Recruiting is seeking a Planning Intern to join its Mount Olive, NJ team. You will support daily supply chain and production planning activities and help maintain inventory levels to meet customer demand.

Gain hands-on experience with planning reports, ERP systems, and cross-functional collaboration with Production, Quality, Raw Materials, and other teams. This internship emphasizes data analysis, problem-solving, and process improvement in a global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations).
• Strong interest in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, or Manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; PivotTables/data analysis experience preferred.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day supply chain and production planning activities.
• Assist with maintaining inventory levels to support demand and production requirements.
• Prepare and maintain planning reports, supply trackers, and inventory data.
• Analyze planning and inventory information to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Raw Materials, and other teams to support material availability and schedules.
• Monitor inventory and identify potential supply issues.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve planning processes and efficiency.
• Support additional supply chain and planning projects as needed.
