Job summary

Coherent Corp. is seeking a purchasing/planning professional in Saxonburg, PA. Responsibilities include handling work orders, rescheduling reports, and researching/invoicing discrepancies, with support for the Department Manager in creating work orders.

Candidates should have a BA/BS or equivalent, 3 years in a purchasing/planning role in manufacturing, and experience with MRP/ERP systems. Proficiency in Outlook/Teams/Excel/Word is required; US citizenship is a must.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred in related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Three (3) year experience in a purchasing / planning department in manufacturing environment
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems
  • Knowledge of optics processing is highly preferred
  • Proficient in using basic software, Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word Environments
  • Must be a U.S. Person
