The NYISO's Interconnection Studies department invites applications for a full-time Planning Engineer.
The Planning Engineer will coordinate, perform and review technical studies related to the interconnection of proposed new generation, transmission, and load facilities to the New York State transmission system. They will review proposed project facilities, including conceptual design and modeling data; prepare base cases for interconnection studies; and provide technical coordination with stakeholders such as customers, transmission owners, consultants, and others.
The position will be filled at the level (i.e. Associate Engineer (0-3 years of experience), Engineer (3-5 years of experience), or Senior Engineer (5+ years of experience)) appropriate with experience and qualifications.

Salary Range: $80,800 – $135,000 USD
