Job summary

Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Planning Analytics Intern to join our Planning & Analytics team. You will gain hands-on experience with advanced analytics, statistical models, and BI tools to support planning processes.

You will work with demand, supply, and commercial planning teams to turn data into actionable insights that improve forecast accuracy and drive business performance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Junior or senior status preferred.
• 3.5 GPA minimum preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and improving planning reports, dashboards, and analytics tools.
• Analyze historical performance and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in demand, supply, and inventory data.
• Support statistical and driver-based forecasting models, helping evaluate accuracy and bias across horizons.
• Partner with planning teams to assess assumptions, scenario outcomes, and KPIs.
• Document methodologies, workflows, and findings for knowledge sharing and repeatability.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to address specific business questions and operational challenges.
