Job Description

NBCUniversal is looking for a Planning & Analytics Engineering Manager. In this role, you’ll shape and configure SAP Analytics Cloud tools and SAP BPC within the Corporate Technology Engineering group, delivering a dynamic SAP Planning and Analytical capability for multiple business sectors.

The role involves managing SAP BPC 2021 Classic version operations, designing solutions for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation, and migrating solutions into SAC Planning. You will oversee SAP Products maintenance, implement security best practices, provide technical leadership, troubleshoot issues, review design standards, and collaborate on solution build and testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of SAP BPC 2021 Classic version for system reliability and performance.
• Design and architect SAP BPC solutions for planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation.
• Deliver planning solutions in SAC Planning and migrate existing BPC solutions.
• Oversee SAP Products maintenance, upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
• Implement security, access control, and governance practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the SAP BPC team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring system stability.
• Review design recommendations for quality and consistency.
• Engage with business units for fit-gap analysis and solution design.
• Participate in solution build, testing, and project management activities.
• Configure SAP BPC processes using EPM skills, BADI, script logics, and computations.
• Advise on solution roadmap considering current BW4HANA footprint.
• Research and recommend future strategies for BPC & SAC solutions.
• Collaborate with peers to integrate SAP applications (S4, BW4, BO, BPC).
• Become a trusted advisor for key business users.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:

• Experience managing and mentoring engineering teams.
• 7+ years of SAP BPC and/or BPC Netweaver experience, including architect-level work.
• Hands-on experience with EPM Add-in, Analysis for Office, and BPC reporting tools.
• Data modeling, blending, and transformation skills for reporting.
• Experience integrating SAC with SAP BW, SAP HANA, S/4, and other data sources.
• Expertise in SAC planning design, Analytical Applications, and Data Modeling.
• Migration experience from BPC to SAC platform.
• Self-starter with ability to handle multiple projects and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Project management familiarity/experience.
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience.

Desired Characteristics:

• SAP SAC Certification (a plus).
• SAP BPC Certification (a plus).

• Fully remote position, contributing from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, typically residence.
