Job Summary

A Planning Analyst for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Irvine, CA area. This role supports supply chain planning by analyzing performance KPIs, developing diagnostic tools, and generating strategic insights and reports to drive improvements across demand/supply processes and business planning activities.

Responsibilities

• Create standardized KPI reports and diagnostics, including performance mitigation plans.
• Develop content for weekly demand/supply execution processes (e.g., backorder updates, inventory risks).
• Assist in monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings with complete content for decision-making.
• Maintain and develop local planning tools (e.g., capacity planning, MRP, safety stocks).
• Generate management reports for planning teams to support operational excellence.
• Create executive-level summaries for weekly/monthly franchise updates.
• Track Phase-in/Phase-out product portfolio statuses.
• Support strategic segmentation of product portfolio for tailored planning/forecasting methods.
• Assist in project tracking documentation for plant/franchise improvement plans.
• Learn and leverage planning systems and ERP tools effectively.

• Familiarity with planning systems like SAP or equivalent ERP.
• Experience with BI tools such as QlikView, Tableau.
• strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Preferably experience in analytics within consulting or corporate teams.
• Fluency in English; second language preferred depending on location.
