Job summary

HelloFresh in Mississauga is seeking a Planning Administrator to support the weekly production plans for Factor meals. You will collaborate with Production, Supply Planning, Procurement and Warehouse teams to optimize operations and meet delivery targets.

The role involves creating sequence plans, adjusting daily production, and ensuring timely workflows while maintaining data integrity and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience in Planning, Logistics, Data Analytics, Production Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Analysis, or related fields.
• Prior experience and/or willingness to work in food manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Portray basic data analysis and analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the weekly production plan by preparing sequence plans and batching recipes to align with forecasted demands.
• Assist the Production Planner(s) in executing and revising the daily Kitchen and Plating sequence to ensure timely, efficient, and balanced workflows.
• Aid in re-sequencing plans as needed to adapt to unforeseen circumstances, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing productivity.
• Help coordinate day-to-day operational readiness by reviewing shift progress, identifying bottlenecks, and communicating updates during daily handovers in the absence of the Planner/Senior Planner.
• Monitor recooks and follow up with Procurement to confirm ingredient availability to support adherence to the Production Plan.
• Optimize equipment utilization (e.g., braisers, ovens, grills) through strategic loading plans that support labor and throughput targets.
• Review and update demand plans and operational data week-over-week, ensuring data integrity to support accurate planning and execution.
• Partner cross-functionally with Product, Procurement, and Production teams to identify gaps, improve alignment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives impacting KPIs.
• Other duties as assigned

Schedule:Wednesday to Sunday, 11:30 AM - 8.00 PM (flexibility required based on business needs)

About the Role

This role will be supporting FACTOR_ brand (part of HelloFresh Group). We are looking for a Planning Administrator who will be responsible for supporting the creation of and adherence to weekly production plans for production and fulfillment of Factor meals. As part of the Planning team, you will play a key role in helping us deliver the best possible value to our customers through supporting the optimization of internal operations to meet customer delivery requirements. This role will work closely with Production, Supply Planning, Procurement and Warehouse teams.

What you will be doing:

At a minimum, you have:

• 1 - 2 years experience in Planning, Logistics, Data Analytics, Production Operations, Supply Chain, Inventory Analysis, or related fields
• Prior experience and/or willingness to work in food manufacturing environment
• Demonstrate proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets
• Portray basic data analysis and analytics skills
• Exhibit effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Displays computer literacy; familiar with company-specific tools or capable and willing to learn new software
• Demonstrates adaptability and stakeholder management; demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
• Utilizes problem-solving abilities; skilled in identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and meet production targets
• Prior experience with data entry and database maintenance
