S'more about the team:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Performance and Supply Chain Optimization to oversee a portfolio of high-impact programs for our Canadian RTE brand (Factor_) aimed at enhancing business performance, leading cost optimization, and transforming operational capabilities. You will serve as the connective tissue between Finance, Operations, Procurement/Sourcing, Supply Planning, and Warehouse teams — owning the end-to-end COGS reporting cycle and leading Supply Chain optimization and continuous improvement projects.

You will take ownership of overall portfolio performance and management, including resourcing, planning, reporting, and governance. You will work directly with executive leadership to ensure alignment with organizational priorities in two critical areas, Cost Performance and Supply Chain Optimization initiatives.

Lettuce share what this role will be responsible for:

  • Portfolio Oversight: Oversee the entire portfolio of initiatives to improve supply chain performance, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, and offer hands‑on guidance as necessary for the successful end-to-end execution of initiatives

  • Lead Cost Performance and Reporting: Own the weekly Factor Canada COGS reporting cycle, analyze the weekly performance, lead a weekly COGS Steerco, become the SME on COGS and operational spend, support financial budgeting and be actively involved in the month end close reconciliations between Finance and Operations

  • Cost Optimization and Operational Excellence: Identify cost reduction / cost optimization opportunities, apply root cause analysis frameworks to identify waste drivers, collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders across the business to validate and align on opportunities and design measurable improvement programs

  • Define Data Infrastructure & Tool Ownership: Partner with Tech teams to define data architecture and data flows to build, stabilize, and improve supply chain performance. Being the primary point of contact to drive tech enablement for supply chain performance improvements.

  • Ownership on Offshore team capability: Responsible for strengthening the offshore team (HelloConnect) performance and optimization to support the business requirements, including performance management, tasks and resources allocation to support across the supply chain.

  • Problem Solving & Decision Recommendations: Address complex problems across multiple business areas, utilizing technical problem‑solving skills to analyze and present data to senior leadership to inform and guide strategic decision‑making. Regularly brief the GM and Director/VP‑level leaders; at weekly Steercos and quarterly budget review sessions

  • Cross‑Functional Stakeholder Management: Act as the key liaison across Finance, Procurement, Operations, Planning and Warehouse teams to analyze key issues, coordinate investigations, connect the dots to provide well‑foundated recommendations for informed decision‑making.

  • Program Governance & Progress Tracking: Establish and maintain robust program governance and systems for the responsible portfolio progress and outcomes.

  • Champion Project Management Best Practices: Coach and educate stakeholders on project management tools and methodology, especially when stakeholders manage their own projects

  • Other duties as assigned

Sound a‑peeling? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Strong understanding of costs, budgets, P&L and waste

  • Experience managing direct reports and/or project resources within a team setting and demonstrated ability to influence, communicate, and partner with cross‑functional leaders to drive performance without direct line authority

  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and operations

  • High proficiency in utilizing structured problem‑solving methodologies and technical analysis approaches to investigate and resolve complex issues

  • Bachelor’s Degree in in Business, Management, Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

  • Deep knowledge of supply chain dynamics, data frameworks, and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, workflow automation)
