Our client seeks a Planner / Scheduler - Project to join their project management and operations support teams. You will develop and maintain detailed turnaround schedules using Primavera P6, integrating maintenance, operations and capital project scopes for comprehensive planning.

The role requires strong CPM scheduling skills, 10+ years of industrial scheduling experience, and the ability to communicate with stakeholders and work in an industrial plant environment during turnarounds.

Qualifications

• 10+ years scheduling experience in refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling.
• Experience supporting large turnarounds, shutdowns, or outages with safety focus.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders.

• Create integrated schedules that combine maintenance, operations, and capital project scopes for comprehensive planning.
• Build logic-driven schedules with accurate activity sequencing and dependencies to support effective execution.
• Incorporate scope changes, discovery work, and updates into the schedule to keep plans current and reliable.
• Monitor schedule progress, conduct critical path analysis, and identify risks to facilitate timely recovery actions.

What's Needed?

• 10+ years of scheduling experience in industrial environments, including refinery, petrochemical, or heavy industry, utilizing Oracle Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and resource loading techniques.
• Experience supporting large-scale turnarounds, shutdowns, or outages with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret schedule data and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Ability to work in an industrial plant environment, climb stairs, and access process units during turnaround activities.
