yPTS Advance is seeking an experienced Project Planner / Primavera P6 Scheduler to support one of our client's Capital Projects organizations. This role is responsible for developing and managing project schedules for engineering and capital projects across multiple disciplines, including mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation & controls (I&C), and structural engineering
.The successful candidate will work closely with project engineers and stakeholders to transform engineering work packages into detailed execution schedules, estimate labor and resource requirements, support project budgeting activities, and provide planning support for field execution
.Key Responsibiliti
- esDevelop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 for capital and engineering project
- s.Review engineering work packages and scope documents to create logical project execution plan
- s.Establish project timelines, work breakdown structures, critical paths, and milestone
- s.Estimate labor hours, manpower requirements, and resource loading for project executio
- n.Support capital project budgeting and forecasting efforts through schedule development and resource plannin
- g.Collaborate with project engineers, construction teams, and refinery stakeholders to align schedules with project objective
- s.Update and maintain project schedules throughout the project lifecycl
- e.Identify schedule risks, resource constraints, and potential impacts to project executio
- n.Provide schedule analysis and reporting to support project management decision-makin
- g.Assist project teams with execution planning and field implementation strategie
- s.Ensure schedules accurately reflect project scope, priorities, and refinery requirement
s.Required Qualificati
- onsMinimum 7+ years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or maintenance planning utilizing Primavera
- P6.Demonstrated experience developing and managing schedules for industrial construction, capital projects, maintenance projects, or similar complex work environmen
- ts.Strong understanding of project controls, resource loading, and schedule development methodologi
- es.Ability to interpret engineering drawings, project scopes, and construction work packag
- es.Proficiency with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applicatio
