Description

Planner/Scheduler

This person will be responsible for planning and scheduling preparation, analysis, updates, progress reporting, as-built schedules, recovery schedules, technical support, and tracking earned value on projects. Other duties may be assigned.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Resources for support, training, and schedule maintenance.
• Aid projects in the establishment of baseline schedules, updates, schedule documentation, and modification.
• Produce or assist in the development of preliminary bid schedules to find bidding advantages and assurance of quality.
• Design all project schedules and contract agreements and ensure the integrity of data in all project life cycles and prepare required reports to provide support to all clients.
• Produce monthly status reports to upper management which show vital schedule information for ongoing projects, including explanations for any changes from the previous month.
• Support project teams with a schedule narrative to explain any discrepancies from month-to-month.
• Support project teams with schedule analysis and time impact analysis exercises.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required for this Position:

Experience: 5+ years of planning and scheduling in an industrial setting.

Must have expertise working with MS Project. This individual should have a good background in construction, understand work breakdown structuring (WBS), and resource loading into a project schedule.
