Job summary

The Global Edge Consultants LLC in Chandler, AZ is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to independently develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules for a leading-edge semiconductor fabrication facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in Data Center, Semi-Conductor Fab, and Technology sectors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, including scope definition and durations.
• Lead coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams.
• Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the overall project schedule.
• Monitor schedule performance, identify trends and deviations.
• Perform schedule analysis including critical path and float analysis.
• Conduct schedule impact and what-if analyses for risks and delays.
• Develop mitigation and recovery plans for schedule risks.
• Prepare short-term lookahead schedules (3-week or rolling).
• Prepare and present weekly/monthly schedule reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure schedule quality, logic integrity and compliance with procedures.
• Participate in schedule reviews and communicate risks clearly.

Job Title: Planner/Scheduler

Work Location : Chandler, AZ (onsite)

Pay Range : $45-60/hr. (1.5* for hours worked after 40)

Project Overview:

The Planner/Scheduler will be working at an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility located in Chandler, AZ. As part of this work, the team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish out a leading-edge chipmaking facility.

Job Summary:

Independently develop, maintain, and analyze integrated project schedules, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with project objectives. You will provide data-driven insights, identify risks and variances, and support decision-making through proactive schedule analysis and recommendations.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 (or equivalent), including scope definition, logic development, activity sequencing, and durations.
• Lead coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams to ensure schedule alignment with project milestones and execution strategy.
• Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the overall project schedule, ensuring consistency and completeness.
• Monitor schedule performance, productivity, and progress against baseline plans, identifying trends and deviations.
• Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float analysis, and schedule variance evaluation.
• Conduct schedule impact and what-if analysis to assess potential risks and delays.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop mitigation and recovery plans to address schedule risks.
• Prepare and maintain short-term lookahead schedules (e.g., 3-week or rolling lookahead) to support execution planning.
• Prepare and present weekly and monthly schedule reports, progress updates, and analysis to project stakeholders.
• Ensure schedule quality, logic integrity, and compliance with project controls procedures and standards.
• Participate in and contribute to schedule reviews, providing clear communication of schedule status, risks, and recommendations.

Education & Experience:

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Industry experience, including Data Center, Semi-Conductor Fab, and Technology.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Demonstrated experience in schedule development, maintenance, and analysis across EPC project phases.
• Ability to independently analyze schedule performance and provide actionable recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data & identify risks & trends.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and startup processes.
• Understanding of schedule integration & interface management across disciplines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present schedule information clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing project needs
