Job description

CLARK Material Handling Company, is a 100 year old company, and a global leader in the material handling and forklift industry. CLARK is seeking qualified candidates to join our team.

This position is responsible to process incoming customer orders and ensure accuracy, compatibility of options ordered, and pricing. This position serves as a liaison between the various departments and factories at CLARK to provide on time delivery of products to our customers. Responsible for enhancing customer satisfaction and experience throughout the order placement and delivery process. Must be able to communicate effectively to upper management and customers using email, phone, and/or Teams.

Essential Functions:

• Process customer orders between Salesforce CPQ and Baan ERP systems.
• Verify purchase price for each order and send acknowledgements to dealers with planned delivery dates.
• Confirm dealer discount/promotional authorization codes and work CLARK regional sales managers on any discrepancies.
• Work with dealerships to identify customer delivery requirements or order changes.
• Review orders for accuracy on all special engineering requests and work with product specialists on correction actions to resolve issues as needed.
• Responsible to generate various weekly reports to reflect production and truck status.
• Edit all orders for accuracy, completeness and compatibility of models and options listed.
• Determine accurate requirements for batteries, chargers, accessories and attachments for the product ordered as needed. Order accessory items with OEM suppliers to ship direct to dealers.
• Communicate effectively with dealer’s organizations via phone, E-mail, and electronic chat, etc.
• Work as liaison with CLARK manufacturing plants and dealerships regarding truck availability status.
• Establish and maintain procedures for processing orders, workflow and other information / requirements related to the position or work assignments.
• Prepare documents as required for import/export (i.e. certificates of origin and affidavits of manufacturing).
• Maintain CLARK factory stock requirements and orders.
• Place orders with import CLARK manufacturing facility and ensure purchase orders are correct.
• Enter purchase order receipts into system on timely bases.
• Maintain pricing database for suggested retail prices as well as purchase prices.
• Update ordering system options and pricing according to latest price pages.
• Use configuration software and programs to insure proper specs on liftrucks.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Advanced computer skids with ERP and CPQ software, especially Baan and Salesforce.
• Self-starter with organizational, planning and prioritizing skills required in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate both written & orally
• Minimum of two- (2) years’ experience in order entry preferably in the material handling industry.
• Have product knowledge of the forklift and material handling industry and preferably with CLARK products.
• Must be authorized to work indefinitely in the U.S.
