Job summary

Integer Holdings is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to drive production scheduling and capacity planning in a fast-paced medical device manufacturing setting.

You will coordinate material requirements, staffing, and equipment, using ERP systems to optimize schedules and meet customer delivery targets. Strong analytical skills and ERP experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; or 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain management.

  • Assign machines, equipment and labor to production tasks to meet goals.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
  • Identify bottlenecks and adjust schedules accordingly.
  • Confirm lead times and adjust schedules to meet delivery times.
  • Generate regular reports on production performance (on-time delivery, efficiency).
  • Input and update production plans in ERP systems to ensure data accuracy.

What you'll do in this role:

In this role, you will require knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Planning while still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills. You will build knowledge of company processes and customers, solve a range of straightforward problems, and analyze possible solutions using standard procedures. You will receive a moderate level of guidance and direction.

Your role requires expanded conceptual knowledge in Supply Chain Planning and broadens your capabilities. You will understand key business drivers within your function and provide informal guidance to team members. You will analyze innovative solutions to solve problems in straightforward situations using your technical experience, judgment, and precedents. Your work will impact the achievement of team goals and objectives. Additionally, you will explain moderately complex information to others in straightforward situations.

  • You will adhere to Integer's Values and all safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements including, but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety, Environmental and Security Management Systems, U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • You will coordinate production schedules for one or multiple products.
  • You will determine staffing, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
  • You will develop and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts, available resources, and production capacity.
  • You will assign machines, equipment, and labor to production tasks, optimizing resource utilization to meet production goals.
  • You will monitor inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to avoid shortages or excess stock.
  • You will identify and address potential bottlenecks or capacity constraints, adjusting schedules as needed.
  • You will confirm lead times, adjusting production schedules to accommodate delivery times.
  • You will generate regular reports on production performance, including key metrics such as on-time delivery and production efficiency.
  • You will use enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to input and update production plans, ensuring accurate data availability.
  • You may perform other duties as needed and as directed by your leadership.
How you will be measured?

The specific measures listed below may be subject to change and are not intended to be an all-inclusive list

  • On-Time Delivery: measures the ability of the role to create and execute production schedules that align with predetermined timelines. It quantifies the percentage of production orders or schedules that are completed and fulfilled within the specified timeframes. A high On-Time Delivery percentage indicates effective planning, coordination, and timely execution of production activities.
  • Schedule Attainment: evaluates how closely the actual production output aligns with the planned production schedule. It is calculated by comparing the planned production quantities with the actual quantities produced over a specific time period. This metric provides insight into the Planner's ability to translate demand forecasts into achievable production plans and the extent to which those plans are realized in practice.
  • Sales Order Backorder: measures the volume of customer orders that cannot be fulfilled immediately due to insufficient inventory levels or production capacity.
  • Inventory levels: measure inventory value and days on hand to target based on Plan for Every Part analysis. These metrics requires the Planner to monitor WIP aging & FG levels and coordinate with other departments to ensure adherence to inventory targets.
  • Capacity Utilization: Measure how well the available production capacity is utilized. This helps assess whether the Planner optimally allocates resources and minimizes idle time.
What sets you apart?
  • A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field is desired; however, if you do not meet the education requirement, you may be considered with three years of relevant experience in supply chain management.
  • You will demonstrate the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other associates and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to apply general knowledge and/or experience to business process understanding
  • Ability to understand standard issues and problems to identify solutions and innovation strong computer skills (MS office). Experience with ERP systems (Oracle/SAP preferred). Working experience in a manufacturing environment (Medical devices desired)
  • You demonstrate competency in both written and oral communications.
  • You maintain a calm demeanor that transcends the high energy, constantly changing supply chain environment.
  • You possess a positive, can-do attitude with an underlying belief that failure is not an option.

Our compensation program includes base salary and a cash-based incentive program supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We provide a comprehensive benefits package with immediate eligibility including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and adoption benefits. Parental leave is available after one year. Optional employee-paid programs include supplemental life insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity and accident insurance. Employees are immediately eligible to participate in the 401(k) plan with company matching contributions. We provide 80 hours (10 days) of company designated holidays per year plus an annual allotment of paid time off.
