Job summary

Ontic's Chatsworth, CA site is seeking a Production Control Planner II. You will plan and coordinate production material requirements for aircraft products, using MRP to plan, create, and release work orders to the shop floor to meet customer shipping dates. You will collaborate across departments to ensure on-time delivery.

The role reports to the Planning Manager and requires a high school diploma, ERP/MRP experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. APICS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and track production material requirements for aircraft products.
• Utilize MRP system to plan, create, and release work orders to the shop floor to meet shipping dates according to customer orders and other dependent demands.
• Create and release work orders to the shop floor in a timely manner.
• Create and maintain process flow charts for key, critical, or new products where applicable.
• Schedule, prioritize, and monitor production processes and material availability, while working closely with various departments to meet delivery dates.
• Review forecast orders and adjust build schedule work orders accordingly.
• Understand multi-level bills of materials, MRP demand and supply, lead-time, safety stock, min and max quantities.

Our team is looking for a Production Control Planner II to join them. You will report to the Planning Manager and will have an onsite work structure in Chatsworth, CA.

To be considered for the Production Control Planner II opening, here’s what you’ll need to bring with you:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• ERP & MRP system experience

Compensation Pay Range

$85,000- $95,000/year, based on experience
