Through clear expectations, coaching and capability development, you'll help your people succeed while using performance data and structured problem solving to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

What you’ll be doing

  • Maintain the effectiveness and integrity of the Quality System, including applicable quality manuals, procedures and guidance.
  • Lead Source and Receiving Inspection, return material investigations, Material Review Board quality analysis and Quality support for Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul activities.
  • Ensure customer, licensor, regulatory and government quality requirements are effectively implemented and maintained across products and processes.
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain site readiness for customer and regulatory surveillance.
  • Monitor Quality performance measures, including cost of poor quality and process turnaround times, using trends and data to prioritise improvement activity.
  • Lead and develop your team through clear objectives, performance management, coaching and capability development.
What you’ll bring
  • 10+ years of Quality experience within an aerospace, electronics or manufacturing environment, including leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of CFR 21, CFR 145, AS9100 and AS9110 requirements, along with applicable customer and government quality requirements.
  • Experience managing Quality Systems and activities including inspections, Material Review Board, return material, First Article Inspection and corrective action.
  • Experience leading customer, regulatory and internal audits and maintaining organisational audit readiness.
  • Demonstrated capability in structured problem solving and root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication, influencing, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills, together with experience coaching and developing Quality professionals.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience; relevant industry Quality certifications would be advantageous.
