What You Will Do
- Lead workload activities of the assigned department by planning, scheduling, measuring, and analyzing Maintenance activities in collaboration with site supervisors. Plan, schedule, and analyze execution to resolve issues successfully.
- Manage and maintain the integrity of the information management systems to meet planning and scheduling objectives.
- Under the guidance of the Equipment Reliability Standards (ERS), interact with the Supervisor to establish and monitor planned schedules for assigned activities. Conduct and participate in planning meetings, review, prioritize, and schedule work orders.
- Responsible for “Runtime Forecasting” process execution and outcomes in the assigned area.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Planner I personnel in Freeport-McMoRan practices, planning, and scheduling techniques.
- Support the area Supervisor in job preparation, execution, and follow-up, including field visits to ensure readiness and resource availability.
- Develop, monitor, and adjust schedules for assigned activities using SAP, maintaining these schedules in the management system.
- Collaborate on long-range planning, including major production shutdowns, job prioritization, resource and material requirements, and interdepartmental coordination.
- Manage and maintain data integrity in SAP for planning and scheduling objectives.
- Establish and maintain a history of all activities in SAP.
- Coordinate with the Global Supply Chain to control warehouse levels and storage conditions.
- Assist with contract execution, prepare scopes of work, and interface with vendors and supply chain for materials and services.
- Support maintenance management decisions, budgets, and forecasting, ensuring adequate materials are available.
- Generate reports to measure key performance indicators for site management.
- Perform other duties as needed.
What You Bring To Freeport
- High School diploma or GED with six (6) years of field maintenance or planning experience in mining, manufacturing, or industrial operations, or equivalent experience.
- Associates degree in a technical field with four (4) years related experience, or Bachelor’s degree with two (2) years related experience.
- Understanding of Maintenance Planning/Scheduling concepts and workflow.
- Knowledge of mining and/or processing equipment functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management systems.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

What We Offer You
The estimated annual pay range for this role is $73,500 - $101,000. This includes base salary only and excludes bonuses, benefits, or retirement contributions.
