Job summary

Jabil in Elmira is seeking a Planner I to link customers, operations, and supply chain teams by building and executing production plans that meet demand while optimizing resources. You will help manage demand, scheduling, and forecasting to drive customer satisfaction and efficiency.

The role requires 1–2 years in planning or related fields, strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, and excellent communication. On-site at the Elmira facility with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.
• 1–2 years of materials, planning, or related experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and Business Unit teams to develop a collaborative demand plan through effective execution of the demand management process.
• Create and maintain a Master Production Schedule (MPS) through resource analysis, including material and capacity planning.
• Load and maintain production schedules within the ERP/MRP system.
• Develop and maintain a feasible operational plan that aligns customer demand with manufacturing capabilities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Materials, and Supply Chain teams to ensure successful execution of production plans.
• Develop and monitor revenue forecasts, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions when performance deviates from targets.
• Monitor key planning metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
