Qualifications

• Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English.
• A valid driver’s license is required for this position.
• Successful completion of the SIDA airport badging or background check process is required for this location.
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances required by Local and Federal Regulatory Authorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan outbound mail for outbound flights.
• Coordinate pickup and delivery of mail.

Work Environment

• Indoor - office environment with potential for remaining seated extended periods of time; continuous use of a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
• Warehouse - physically strenuous, prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to noise, safe but potentially unpleasant odors, varying temperatures and humidity, in and around heavy moving equipment.
• Outdoor - prolonged periods of time standing with exposure to prevalent weather, dust, dirt, fuel, fumes and noise, in or around heavy equipment and moving vehicles.
• This position requires regular on-site attendance to meet immediate business demands. Remote or hybrid work is prohibited.

Physical Demands

• Routinely required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; speak clearly and hear efficiently.
• Must routinely lift and/or move up to, in excess of 25-55 pounds.
• Must have the ability to climb 15-foot heights for work.
• Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
• May be exposed to hazards inherent in airport operations, including noise, vehicles, equipment, and weather, all of which are well-managed with a high level of training, personal protective equipment, and safety procedures.
