Job summary

Bombardier is seeking a Planner Aircraft Services at the Hartford, CT site to coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling for Learjet aircraft. You will develop work packages, confirm resource availability, and liaise with Maintenance, Material Support, Vendors, and Line Service to ensure on‑time inductions and accurate invoicing.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience, proficiency with SAP/Maximo, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance environment
• Computer skills to learn/operate word processing, spreadsheets, databases, projects, e-mail, and web-based apps
• Interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, employees, customers, management, and contractors
• Planning and organizational skills to prioritize and coordinate workload across multiple projects with changing priorities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to analyze risk and make sound business decisions

• Attend customer debrief or pre-induct before aircraft arrival
• Input data into systems as required
• Maintain and develop aircraft model-specific technical information (airframe, engine, avionics, paint/interior)
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Material Support, Labs, Vendors, and Line Service for data for invoicing

• Communicate and coordinate with other departments such as Maintenance, Material Support, Labs, Vendors, and Line Service to gather work package data for invoice

ADDITIONAL DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in related field
• A&P Certificate or FCC License
• Previous experience in aircraft maintenance planning and scheduling, proposal writing, and/or invoice analysis
• Previous experience with SAP, Maximo, and/or Pivotal
• Basic knowledge of applicable Federal Aviation Regulations, for example, part 91, 121, 135, and 145
• Basic knowledge of process for producing Airworthiness Directives
