Metropolitan Government of Nashville & Davidson County is seeking experienced professionals for the Land Development and Design Division. The role supports shaping Nashville's future, presenting to the Metropolitan Planning Commission, and communicating with multiple stakeholders on urban design issues.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s in Planning or related field with 4 years of experience (or a Master’s with 2 years). A valid driver license may be required.
Nashville/Davidson County is seeking experienced individuals to join the Land Development and Design Division. It is an exciting time to be a part of a team that is shaping Nashville's future. This position is non-Civil Service and located with the Planning Commission.
Public Service Loan Forgiveness for qualifying loans.
Bachelor's Degree in Planning, or related field, from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of related experience
OR
Master's Degree in Planning or related field from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of related experience.
Valid Driver License may be required for some positions in this classification.
Candidates with accreditations earned in a foreign institute are encouraged to apply.
Note: Per Metro Ordinance No. SO94-1078. All employees of the Metropolitan Government shall be residents of the State of Tennessee or become residents of the state within six (6) months of employment as a prerequisite to employment with the Metropolitan Government.
