Reliable Safety and Flow Corporation in Romeoville, IL is seeking a Planner to manage material control and ensure orders move smoothly through the plant to meet shipping dates.

The Production Planner will update schedules daily, coordinate paperwork, and collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and the warehouse to resolve material issues and keep orders on track. This is a full-time on-site role.

Competenze

• Associates’ degree is preferred but equivalent work experience is considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications particularly Word and Excel.
• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in production planning, materials management, or related roles within a manufacturing environment.
• Must be customer-oriented and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail is required.

Description

The Production Planner is responsible for administering, organizing, and controlling material control functions of the plant, ensuring the flow of orders through the plant in a timely fashion to meet scheduled shipping dates.

How You Will Help:

• Print and coordinate Customer order and Manufacturing order paperwork.
• Update production schedule daily
• Assist in analyzing plant capacity data and order specifications to determine manufacturing schedule to drive optimal performance.
• Provide lead time direction to sales for new customer orders.
• Review the status of work in process with manufacturing to ensure work orders are on track and take necessary actions to resolve problems.
• Assist warehouse in troubleshooting material issues.
• Follow up on customer service questions regarding order status and shipping date changes.
• The position will include performing additional tasks as deemed necessary.
