Job summary

The City of Pueblo is seeking a Planner to join the Planning and Community Development team. You will receive and review zoning, subdivision, and master planning applications for compliance with regulations and policies, and prepare written reports on planning matters.

You will research, verify, update and draft legislative documents, investigate planning-related complaints, conduct field inspections, and recommend corrective actions to ensure compliance with approved permits and licenses.

As a Planner, youll receive and review zoning, subdivision, and master planning applications for compliance with appropriate regulations and policies, research, analyze, and interpret social, economic, population, transportation, and land use trends and prepare written reports on various planning matters. Additionally, youll research, verify, update and draft legislative documents for review, investigate planning-related complaints and recommend corrective actions and conduct field inspections to verify compliance with approved permits and licenses.

This full-time position offers you avariety of benefitsthat provide a great work/life balance, PERA retirement, and a salary range of $61,036.92 - $76,748.76.
