This position is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys applying planning principles to real-world projects, working with the community, and collaborating with applicants, property owners, developers, and City staff.
In this role, you will assist senior planning staff with administering the Development Code, reviewing development proposals, responding to public inquiries, preparing technical planning materials, and supporting projects that influence how Hillsboro grows and develops.

Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, or related field and two years of municipal planning related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
