Job summary

The Salvation Army Indiana Division is seeking a Planned Giving professional to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors for meaningful planned gifts. You will work within a team to implement philanthropic campaigns, engaging volunteers and leaders to reach fundraising goals.

A Bachelor’s degree is required, with five years in fundraising or related areas; CFRE/CFP/CAP is a plus. Responsibilities include managing donor relationships, developing plans for new and current donors, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree beneficial.
• Experience in fundraising, personal solicitation, or related areas.
• Experience with high-level volunteers, donors and program staff.
• Familiarity with nonprofit fundraising ethics and standards.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, solicit, secure and steward individual prospects and donors for planned gifts.
• Participate in philanthropy campaigns and fundraising plans.
• Develop solicitation plans and donor cultivation materials.
• Maintain donor portfolios and achieve annual fundraising goals.
• Collaborate with senior staff, volunteers and donors to execute strategy.
