Job summary

Amentum in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Plane Captain to perform aircraft handling, servicing, and pre-operational inspections, ensuring safe ground operations and conformity with procedures.

The role includes launching and recovering aircraft, directing taxi, towing, and maintaining safety, tool control, and FOD compliance while guiding the Aircraft Washer and Plane Captain Helper classifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years’ aviation maintenance or flight line experience.
• Must have valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and turn around inspections per procedures.
• Fuel ground support equipment and perform pre-operational checks.
• Launch and recover aircraft; marshal and tow as required.
• Maintain safety, comply with FOD, safety rules and tool control.
