Job summary

V2X is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I, Plane Captain for the F-18 program at NTWP Naval Test Wing China Lake, California. You will service aircraft, coordinate ground movements on the flight line, drive service vehicles, and help load and unload payloads to keep daily flight schedules running smoothly.

Requirements include Navy Skill Specialty T/M Class C school, a minimum of two years of O-Level maintenance on the F-18, Plane Captain qualification, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Shall have completed Navy Skill Specialty T/M Class C school in airframe, avionics, hydraulics or related systems training.
• Shall have minimum two years of O-Level maintenance experience on F-18 aircraft.
• Shall have two years T/M experience within the last two years.

Responsibilities

• Service aircraft and direct movement on the flight line using signals or guiding vehicles.
• Enter maintenance servicing in records and operate ground support equipment.
• Perform scheduled/unscheduled maintenance and assist in load/unload of stores and passengers.
