Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic II to perform both scheduled and unscheduled O-Level maintenance on squadron aircraft, including airframe, power plants, hydraulics, and flight-control systems.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; specialized training desirable.
• Shall have completed Navy Skill Specialty Class C school.
• Five years USN/USMC/USCG O-Level CNAFINST 4790.2 aircraft maintenance experience.
• Three years T/M aircraft maintenance experience for the T/M/S aircraft.
• Previously designated CDI, QAR, or CDQAR.
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical component troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled/unscheduled O-Level maintenance on aircraft airframe, ordnance, power plants, and related systems.
• Maintain and repair engine systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and flight controls.
• Lead teams on more complex tasks as required and direct Level I personnel when needed.
• Record entries in aircraft logs and ensure adherence to maintenance directives.
