Job summary
Richland County seeks a Plan Reviewer to digitally review subdivision and commercial site plans for regulatory compliance, reporting to the General Manager of the New Development-Engineering Division. Qualifications
- Associate degree in engineering, surveying and mapping, landscape architecture, environmental science, or related field.
- One to two years of plan review or related experience preferred.
- Adobe experience strongly desired; ArcGIS and AutoCAD beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Review major/minor subdivision plans and commercial site plans for compliance with Richland County regulations.
- Communicate plan modifications to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Interact with engineers, developers, builders, contractors, architects, County staff and the public regarding regulations and review process.
- Generate and maintain records of the review process for new development.
- Prepare reports and correspondence as required by the Department and regulatory agencies.
