Responsibilities

• Handle and assist with plaintiff personal injury matters from litigation through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy.
• Prepare for mediations, hearings, and settlement conferences.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and insurance carriers.
• Assist with trial preparation.
• Take increasing ownership of cases as experience and performance develop.

About the Role

We're working with a growing plaintiff-side personal injury firm in Santa Ana seeking a Plaintiff Personal Injury Associate Attorney to join its litigation team.

This is an opportunity for a California-licensed attorney who wants meaningful hands-on litigation experience and the opportunity to take real ownership of cases.

You'll work directly with experienced attorneys and gain exposure to every stage of plaintiff personal injury litigation, including case development, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation.

The position offers a $120,000-$160,000 base salary and the opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule after successful onboarding.

Work Model

This position is onsite in Santa Ana during onboarding to provide training, integration with the team, and hands-on support. A hybrid schedule is available after successful onboarding.

Compensation

Base Salary: $120,000-$160,000 + Bonus - Compensation will depend on experience and overall qualifications.
