Job summary

Legado Talent in Houston seeks an Associate Attorney with 3+ years in Civil Litigation, Plaintiff PI or Labor & Employment to support the area’s largest plaintiff firm. The role requires handling depositions, motion practice and mediation, with primary responsibility for weighty briefing and independent case management.

Base salary ranges from $110k to $140k depending on experience, with an additional percentage of fees on resolved cases.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Texas and admitted in the Southern District of Texas.
• 3+ years of Civil Litigation, Plaintiff PI or Labor & Employment experience.
• Experience supporting a plaintiff-focused firm with strong briefing skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle depositions, motions, and mediation to move cases toward resolution.
• Prepare briefs, demand letters and other pleadings with independent judgment.
• Manage a caseload of 30–35 active files and keep matters progressing.
