Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline with 5-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent expertise.
Must be eligible for an active Secret security clearance.
Current DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
Familiarity with Registration Authority (RA) and/or Trusted Agent responsibilities within a DoD context.
Basic knowledge of digital certificates, CSR formats, and trust pathways.
Understanding of security and compliance frameworks related to PKI (e.g., NIST, DoD RMF).
Strong analytical skills for identity and certificate management challenges.
Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and training.

Follow the guidelines set in the Certificate Practice Statement and enforce Coast Guard protocols.
Verify the identity of requesters and their access privileges for certificate issuance.
Handle enrollment requests for privileged accounts and server TLS certificates.
Assist with troubleshooting and resolving certificate-related problems, including revoking compromised certificates.
Offer direction and training to Coast Guard Trusted Agents regarding certificate protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with DoD and Coast Guard security regulations.
Guarantee precise record‑keeping for all certificate requests and approvals.
