Responsibilities

• Provide and support rigorous and appropriate instruction aligned with the WIDA English Language Proficiency Standards and the Common Core to meet grade level expectations for MLs (PK-5).
• Collaborate with general education teachers to enhance English acquisition across language domains for participation in content classes.
• Provide ongoing staff development on language acquisition, sheltered instruction, and effective practices for MLs.
• Use school and student data to inform instruction and programming supports for MLs.
