Job summary

Monday Night Brewing is seeking a full-time Pizzaiolo (Shift Lead) to join our kitchen team at Monday Night Garden Co. in Charlotte, NC. You will lead pizza operations, ensure food quality, and uphold safety and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of bar or restaurant experience, strong leadership, and the ability to work nights and weekends. Compensation is $20.00-$22.00 per hour, with opportunities to grow within a team-focused brewery environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of bar or restaurant experience in a fast-paced environment; managerial experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, sense of urgency, ownership mindset.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Willing to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Familiarity with restaurant POS and back-office systems.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and Google Docs.

Responsibilities

• Open and/or close kitchen tasks daily.
• Cooks are responsible for all positions within the kitchen.
• Follow all company and food safety/service policies.
• Plan production to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Prepare menu items with recipes, portions and presentation standards.
• Stock line station with supplies for smooth service.
• Maintain correct temperatures and holding/reheating methods.
• Ensure organized, labeled storage areas.
• Use FIFO inventory method.
• Obtain ServSafe Certification within first 30 days.
• Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
