Job description

As a Cook for Pizza Inn, you will be responsible for learning the tasks associated with all of the following positions. For each of the positions, you will be expected to:

1. Have a neat, clean appearance
2. Follow directions & Pizza Inn Portion Control Chart
3. Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
4. Demonstrate guest-oriented focus
5. Demonstrate teamwork
6. Communicate to the various departments
7. Manage equipment effectively
8. Follow "clean as you go" policy
9. Keep work area organized & follow 7 steps of phone pro
10. Demonstrate a sense of urgency
11. Adhere to food quality standards (freshness, temperature, taste, appearance)
12. Understand FIFO rotation

Job Requirements

1. Understand all Portion Control Charts, full and add portions
2. Make all Specialty Pizzas correctly
3. Use scales for all portioning
4. Know all product abbreviations, can read guest checks and/or POS monitors
5. Follow Buffet Rotation Chart
6. Follow correct baking procedures
7. Produce consistent products
8. Know and prepare all specialty items
9. Know Shelf Life of products and/or where to locate
10. FIFO, flip and fill and restock products
11. Prep/label items correctly
12. Explain the importance of minimizing waste and Food Cost
13. Complete side work duties
14. Open and close station correctly
