Job description

As a Cook for Pizza Inn, you will be responsible for learning the tasks associated with all of the following positions. For each of the positions, you will be expected to:

1. Have a neat, clean appearance
2. Follow directions & Pizza Inn Portion Control Chart
3. Follows all safety and sanitation procedures
4. Demonstrate guest-oriented focus
5. Demonstrate teamwork
6. Communicate to the various departments
7. Manage equipment effectively
8. Follow "clean as you go" policy
9. Keep work area organized & follow 7 steps of phone pro
10. Demonstrates a sense of urgency
11. Adheres to food quality standards (freshness, temperature, taste, appearance)
12. Understands FIFO rotation

Job Requirements

1. Understands all Portion Control Charts, full and add portions
2. Makes all Specialty Pizzas correctly
3. Uses scales for all portioning
4. Knows all product abbreviations, can read guest checks and/or POS monitors
5. Follows Buffet Rotation Chart
6. Follows correct baking procedures
7. Produces consistent products
8. Knows and prepares all specialty items
9. Knows Shelf Life of products and/or where to locate
10. FIFO, flip and fill and restocking products
11. Prep/label item correctly
12. Can explain importance of minimizing waste and Food Cost
13. Completes side work duties
14. Opens and closes station correctly
