Job summary

Hearth Pizza Tavern in Sandy Springs, GA is seeking a Pizza Line Cook to join a fast-paced scratch kitchen. You will hand-stretch dough, build pizzas, and manage oven execution while maintaining quality and speed.

We train the right candidate on dough stretching, pizza building, oven execution, and the rhythms of a busy kitchen. Previous pizza or line cook experience is welcomed, but eagerness to learn and a dependable work ethic matter most.

Qualifications

• Prior pizza cook/line cook experience preferred.
• Experience in a scratch kitchen environment is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Hand-stretch dough, build pizzas, and manage oven execution.
• Build pizzas with proper portioning, toppings, and presentation standards.
• Operate and manage oven cooking times for consistent quality.
• Work the pizza stations efficiently during busy lunch and dinner service.
• Prep ingredients, including cheeses, sauces, toppings, proteins, and garnishes.
• Maintain station cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure accurate ticket times.
• Support prep and closing/opening duties as needed.
• Learn kitchen systems and help maintain smooth service flow.
