You will work with a skilled team to deliver high-quality dishes and exceptional guest experiences. Qualifications include a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Certificate and prior line cook experience.

Qualifications

• Must have current Maricopa County Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Experience as a line cook or in a similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of cooking techniques, methods, and equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for food.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Streets of New York recipes and quality standards.
• Set up and stock workstations with all necessary supplies.
• Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Assist in food inventory management and report shortages to the kitchen manager.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation and timely service.
• Maintain equipment and utensils, ensuring they are cleaned and properly stored.
• Follow sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Assist with menu item development and special promotions as needed.
• Some heavy lifting required, such as 50-lb bags of flour and moving boxes of meats, cheeses, vegetables, etc.
