Via 313 is hiring for a Dough/Prep Team Member in Austin, TX. You will be making sauces, preparing vegetables and ingredients, shredding cheese, and pressing dough in a small, fast-paced kitchen.

You will support pizza production during busy times and help with dishes to ensure smooth operations. This role offers team growth and opportunities within the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Availability to work weekends.
• Valid Food Handler's Permit (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Make sauces, prep vegetables and ingredients, shred cheese, and press dough.
• Support the BOH team during high-volume periods with pizza production and dish duties.
• Work in a fast-paced kitchen with a small 3–5 person team and strong attention to detail.
• There are growth opportunities; the role is part of a larger kitchen team.

A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Via 313 Dough/Prep Team Member includes making sauces, prepping vegetables and ingredients, shredding cheese, and most importantly, mixing and pressing our dough. All of this takes place in a small, fast-paced kitchen environment.

Our teams are tight-knit (3-5 people per shift), so you’ll wear multiple hats throughout the day. In addition to prep, you’ll support the BOH team during high-volume periods by assisting with pizza production and helping keep up with dishes to ensure smooth operations. Expect a fast-paced environment where teamwork, consistency, and attention to detail are key to success.

This role is a key part of our kitchen and team environment, with plenty of opportunities to grow if you’re willing to jump in and learn!
