Job summary

Domino’s Pizza in Washington DC is hiring delivery drivers to bring hot pizzas and items to customers on assigned routes. You will inspect your vehicle, verify orders, and maintain high standards of customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll communicate with the store and dispatcher, handle cash and credit transactions, and follow safe food handling procedures while building loyal customers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with two years driving experience.
• Must possess a valid state driving license.
• Have access to a well-maintained, licensed vehicle capable of driving up to 100 miles per day.
• Able to pass motor vehicle report (MVR) checks and background checks.
• Capable of reading a map and using GPS directions within delivery area.
• Able to navigate multi-story buildings and varied delivery sites safely.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with customers and management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pizzas and other items to residential and commercial locations on assigned routes.
• Inspect vehicle before deliveries and maintain safety standards.
• Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
• Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced operation.
• Communicate clearly with store personnel and dispatcher to optimize routing.
• Handle currency and credit transactions accurately and quickly.
• Follow food safety procedures during preparation, assembly and presentation.
• Assist with prep and maintain clean, stocked workstations.
