Job summary

Jack’s Pizza in Indianapolis is hiring Delivery Drivers to transport food orders, ensure on-time delivery and provide friendly service. You’ll be cross-trained in store operations and must maintain a neat appearance with the required uniform.

The role pays hourly between $11.10 and $13.62, with weekly direct deposit, cash paid daily, tips, and delivery reimbursements. No early mornings, earned vacation time, and 401k are offered to help you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Fast-paced environment capable.
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license required.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Punctual, honest and team player.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders promptly and enthusiastically
• Be time sensitive to the promise times to customers and be vigilant about meeting or beating them
• Maintain presentation of your vehicle and always wear the required uniform in order to make a positive impression
• Manage time on the road and in the store to reduce customer wait times and build customer loyalty
• Create a positive rapport with customers both on the phones, in the store and in their homes
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Understand the mission statement, “We Take Your Pizza Personally”, its purpose and how it relates to building customer loyalty on a daily basis, and instilling this purpose in all team members
• Greet customers, take their order and prepare the meal
• Provide excellent service, ensuring that you treat customers with respect, dignity and courtesy
• Work as part of a team to attain the highest standards possible
• Ensure order accuracy and completion of order
• Follow proper cash handling procedures/safety precautions
