Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a dependable Pizza Cook to join our kitchen team in Texas. You will prepare pizzas and menu items, follow recipes, and help ensure every order is accurate, timely, and of high quality.

You'll work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a clean, safe station, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver a great dining experience. Prior kitchen experience is beneficial, and willingness to learn and take coaching is valued.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pizzas and customer orders according to company recipes and standards.
• Prepare and portion ingredients needed for daily food preparation.
• Operate ovens, cooking equipment, and other kitchen equipment safely and properly.
• Monitor food while cooking to ensure proper quality, temperature, and presentation.
• Ensure customer orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
• Assist with kitchen preparation and stocking as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary cooking station throughout the shift.
• Clean and sanitize cooking equipment, work surfaces, utensils, and other kitchen areas regularly.
• Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Receive coaching and hands-on training to improve skills and performance.
• Assist management and other team members with in-store tasks and daily restaurant operations.
• Help maintain proper inventory and communicate when ingredients or supplies need replenishment.
• Work efficiently as part of a team during busy periods.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
