Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen in Long Beach, CA is hiring a Pizza Chef to uphold our high standards of quality and service. You will prepare pizzas, manage dough, and maintain sanitation while contributing to a fast-paced, team-focused kitchen.

We offer flexible shifts, both full- and part-time opportunities, benefits, training, and opportunities for advancement. Experience of 3–6 months is preferred; you will work with the Dough-Pro machine and help ensure every guest leaves satisfied.

They assure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes. They are our experts of the “Dough-Pro” machine. Our Pizza Chef supports the line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift. They prepare all necessary items for their station as needed. They practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment. They maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
