Job summary

ASM Global at the Save Mart Center is seeking a Pizza Cook to prepare pizza in a fast-paced kitchen. This role reports to the Executive Chef and has no supervisory responsibilities.

You will follow approved recipes, maintain a sanitary workstation, label and date food, minimize waste, and assist with other food preparation. Flexible hours are required, including nights and weekends. This is an hourly non-exempt position.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• GED or high school diploma.
• At least 6 months experience as a pizza cook.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

ASM Global has an immediate opening for a Pizza Cook at the Save Mart Center.

SUMMARY

This position works in the kitchen preparing pizza for the facility. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains organized sanitary workstation at all times. Properly labels and dates food items for storage. Assists in any and all food preparation. Minimizes waste by controlling usage and following preset portioning. Follows approved recipes and production standards. Helps to maintain all Kitchen equipment and its cleanliness. Maintain a clean, safe working environment.

Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Must be 18 years or older and graduated from High School or have GED. At least 6 months experience in a pizza cook position preparing pizza from start to finish.

Positive, customer service oriented attitude at all times.

Strong knowledge of sanitary practices.

Maintains proper grooming and dress code standards.

Must be able to stand and walk for long periods at a time.
