California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Pizza Chef to join our dynamic, fun team. We live by our R.O.C.K.S philosophy—Respect, Opportunity, Communication, Kindness, and epic Service—and we celebrate creativity and guest-focused dining.

As a Pizza Chef, you will maintain high standards for food quality and sanitation, ensure timely pizza preparation, and master the Dough-Pro machine. You’ll participate in line checks and prep sheets, and safely handle kitchen tools throughout each shift.

Responsibilities

• Our Pizza Chef maintain the highest standards for food quality and sanitation.
• They assure timely preparation of all pizzas station recipes.
• They are our experts of the "Dough-Pro" machine.
• Our Pizza Chef supports the line checks process and complete prep par sheets every shift.
• They prepare all necessary items for their station as needed.
• They practice and teach safe/sanitary handling of cutting boards, counter tops, knives, and equipment.
• They maintain the proper temperature of equipment and perform station opening/closing and side work duties each shift.
