Job summary

The role emphasizes organization, safety, and timely, tasty dish execution. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED preferred, at least 1 year of cooking experience, and basic cash handling skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year cooking experience preferred.
• 1 year cash handling and cash register experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Administrative/clerical experience is helpful.
• Must maintain a neat, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Current Food Handler or ServSafe certificate and OLCC license.

Responsibilities

• Prepares food and ingredients at the start of each shift and replenishes as needed.
• Creates orders according to menu and supervisor instructions with attention to taste and presentation.
• Maintains the kitchen and supply room in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.
• Assists in inventory, orders, stocks, and rotates items; dates perishables and keeps condiments filled.
• Keeps kitchen clean, including floors, walls, ceilings, equipment, and deep-clean tasks.
