Parry's Pizzeria & Taphouse in Kingwood, TX is seeking a Pizza Chef to craft Parry’s signature pizzas with precision and speed in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will hand-stretch dough, assemble pizzas, and maintain high standards for quality, timing, and presentation while collaborating with BOH teammates. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for training and growth within the restaurant group.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of made-from-scratch pizza experience.
• Ability to work early mornings, nights and weekends.
• Must maintain high-quality dough handling and pizza finishing.

Role Overview

Pizza Chefs are responsible for preparing and executing Parry’s signature pizzas according to recipe standards, dough-handling techniques, and ticket-time expectations. This role requires strong attention to detail, discipline, speed, and the ability to stay organized during high-volume service.

Pizza Chefs play a direct role in food quality, kitchen flow, guest satisfaction, and maintaining the standards that make Parry’s pizza unique.

Responsibilities + Duties

• Prepare and hand-stretch pizza dough consistently and according to Parry’s standards
• Prepare and execute pizzas with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and presentation expectations consistently
• Understand proper dough handling, bake quality, and pizza finishing techniques
• Maintain organized stations, prep levels, and kitchen readiness throughout the shift
• Communicate clearly with BOH teammates during high-volume service
• Support overall kitchen flow by assisting with prep, cleanup, and station support
• Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and sanitation standards at all times
• Balance speed and efficiency without sacrificing quality or consistency
• Take pride in the craft, discipline, and technical execution of the pizza station
• Accountable for line checks, taste, temps
• Cross-trained into other stations to support kitchen operations

Qualifications + Skills

• 2+ years of made-from-scratch pizza experience, including hand-stretching dough
• Ability to work early mornings, nights and weekends as needed
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a high-volume environment
• Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed
• Reliable, disciplined, and focused under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to learn, take coaching, and continue developing technical skills
• Passion for food, pizza, and kitchen craftsmanshi
