Job summary

Google Inc. in Mountain View seeks a Software Technical Lead for the Pixel display stack. You will own large portions of the device's display software, drive end-to-end development, and guide engineers toward production-ready solutions.

You will collaborate with Android Platform, Pixel Hardware, Silicon and external partners to deliver integrated display features from design to testing and launch. This role also offers technical leadership opportunities across the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development (e.g., C, C++, Java).
• 5 years of experience with software design and architecture.
• 5 years of experience with Android development or Android internals.
• Experience with Linux Kernel.

Responsibilities

• Drive complete development cycles of Pixel display projects from design to launch.
• Own display features such as device controls, brightness, color management, and power.
• Collaborate across Pixel, Android platform, and external vendors.
• Develop infrastructure for telemetry, diagnostics, and updatability.
• Build deep expertise in display devices and SoCs for end-user devices.
