RUM Group Inc. is seeking a Data Center Site Manager to lead the launch and ongoing operations of its Pittsburgh AI data center.

You will build and lead the on-site operations team, establish processes and procedures, and ensure reliable 24/7 critical‑facility operations. The role requires strong mission‑critical facilities experience, hands‑on leadership, and the ability to manage across technical, people, vendor, safety, and customer dimensions while maintaining uptime and continuous

Qualifications

• 10+ years of data center operations or mission-critical facilities experience.
• Experience leading electrical, mechanical, operations, or critical-environment teams.
• Experience with construction handover, commissioning, and operational readiness.
• Deep understanding of electrical, mechanical, cooling, and IT/networking in data centers.
• Experience managing preventive and corrective maintenance and vendor activity.
• Strong incident-management and root-cause analysis abilities.
• Experience working with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Experience managing site-level projects: scope, budget, schedule, quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site data center operations for the Pittsburgh facility, building and guiding a high-performing team.
• Oversee transition from construction to steady-state operations and ensure turnover readiness.
• Manage preventive/corrective maintenance, vendor activity, and contractor oversight.
• Own incident response, escalation, and post-incident analysis; communicate with leadership.
