Job summary

Unique Industries, Inc. is seeking safety-minded material handlers to operate powered industrial truck equipment (PIT) in Blairs, VA. PIT Operators contribute to production and maintain pick standards within the department through use of various powered equipment.

Responsibilities include picking/packing orders, shipping, receiving, inventory, and completing SOP paperwork, with a focus on quality and safety. We offer competitive pay with benefits and room for growth.

Qualifications

• Read, analyze, and interpret documents related to duties.
• Understand written and oral instructions.
• Perform basic math.
• Ability to multi-task and follow through on tasks.
• Proficiency operating Turret Truck, Reach Truck, Walkie Rider, Sit-down Counterbalance, Order Picker.
• 1 year of distribution/manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must attain and keep current PIT license.
• Standing, walking, sitting, and repetitive hand motions required; lift up to 50 lbs; heights up to 30 ft.

Responsibilities

• Assist department by selecting product for requested work.
• Troubleshoot problems and relay to Leads or Supervisor.
• Handle picking/packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and related duties.
• Complete department paperwork per SOP.
• Replenish materials to stock assigned zone.
• Maintain professional interactions and ensure quality and safety.
• Perform other related duties as required.
